Praise:

  1. The Christmas drama presented by Bible club children brought out a good group of parents to hear the Gospel.
  2. The Ladies Bible study group held a Christmas dinner in which unsaved ladies heard the Gospel.
  3. Ecuadorian missionaries were encouraged at a special time of fellowship.
  4. The Lord provided for Amanda in a special way. She was able to fly to Maine for Christmas break.
  5. The New Year’s event was well attended and a blessing.

Prayer:

  1. The enemy is at work trying to discourage church families. Please pray for our families to be strong in the power of His might.
  2. We need to re-establish regular meeting times with those being discipled now that Christmas activities are finished.
  3. We are planning a congregational meeting to elect a church board.
  4. We are planning a baptism in Feb. Dan will be discipling candidates this month.
  5. Our Children, Amanda and Mark are returning to studies. Pray for them to have a profitable semester and God will be directing them.
  6. Our son,Kevin, is in his last 6 months of study here in Ecuador. Pray for God’s leading in his life.
  7. Pray for Karen and Jake, 11 weeks until the birth of their second baby.

  • Praise the Lord for the powerful testimonies given at the recent Baptism.

 

  • Unsaved family members, who attended the Baptism, are asking questions about Jesus and the Bible.

 

  • The membership approved the leadership board.

 

  • Gabriel began a class for pre-teens. Nelly is going to be a helper.

 

  • Sandra began a Children’s Bible Club in her home and has up to 30 attending.

 

  • Andres did return to his family but hasn’t returned to church.

 

  • The youth event was well attended and gave opportunity for the Gospel to be presented.

 

  • Church leaders are beginning to participate in visitation of families.

o        Pray for Andres to return to the Lord. Pray for restoration of family members.

 

o        Salvation of Silvia and other unsaved     relatives who attended the Baptism.

 

o        Pray for those from church sharing the Gospel to co-workers and family members.

 

o        Pray for evangelism activities associated with “Holy Week”.

 

o        Pray for Bible Institute students from Chaupimolino.

 

o        Faithfulness for those being discipled and counseled.

 

o        Our children to be faithful in their walk with the Lord and responsibilities they have at present.

 

o        Pray for Karen, our daughter, to have a safe delivery of their second child due the 18th of March.
